Educational Qualification

  • MSc/MTech in Atmospheric and Ocean Science, Earth System Science, Meteorology, Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.   OR,

  • BE/BTech/MTech in Meteorology, Ocean/Marine Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Computer Engineering, or IT.

Exam Qualification

Must have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET/GATE or equivalent national-level exams conducted by Central Government institutions.

Desirable Skills

  • Big Data Analysis and Display tools.

  • Expertise in Climate Models, Mathematical Modeling, and Artificial Intelligence.

  • Proficiency in Linux, MATLAB, Python, and C++.

  • Strong academic record with at least 60% marks at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Age Limit

No specific age mentioned, but candidates must meet other qualifications.

Additional Notes

Preference given to candidates with knowledge in high-performance computing systems and advanced research methods.
