About the Project
The project involves:
- Data Analysis: Analyze Aditya-L1 in-situ measurements of turbulent solar wind plasma.
- Simulation Work: Conduct advanced numerical simulations to understand solar wind heating mechanisms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with scientists from IIT Hyderabad and PRL Ahmedabad.
- Ph.D. Opportunity: Outstanding candidates may convert this research role into a Ph.D. program.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Physics or B.Tech. in Engineering Physics (or related fields) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be GATE/CSIR-UGC NET qualified.
- Knowledge of plasma physics/space physics and computer programming is desirable.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 28 years.
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women candidates.
